CapDH is a human rights organization created in Bamako in March 2008. Its vision is "to make Mali a true state of law in which human rights are promoted and respected.
To this end, its mission is to "promote human rights, the culture of peace and citizenship in Mali and help victims defend and enjoy their rights.
It works in three (03) priority areas, namely:
- Promotion and defense of human rights;
- Education in the culture of peace and citizenship;
- Assistance to victims of human rights violations and vulnerable people.
In addition to its headquarters in Bamako, the Center has opened fourteen (14) Community Assistance Offices (BAC): Kita, Dioila, Sikasso, Koutiala, Ségou, San, Bla, Niono, Mopti, Djenne, Bandiagara, Koro, Gao and Bamako.
