Created in 1988 on the initiative of the Savoie General Council to conduct its international solidarity policy, the Pays de Savoie solidaires association has two main lines of work, which have gradually been structured in a complementary manner:
→ The animation of decentralized cooperation of the Department of Savoie (with Bignona in Senegal and Dessalines in Haiti)
→ The development of international solidarity in Savoie (via the Réseau des Acteurs de Solidarité Internationale en Savoie - RéSIS)
What we can contribute
Product, service or intervention proposed
Within the framework of a partnership with a company, we can bring to bear the expertise of more than 30 years of partnership with a community in Senegal (Bignona) and more than 20 years with a community in Haiti (Dessalines). Our multi-thematic approach leads us to carry out projects in connection with different competences of local authorities (Social Action, Youth, Environment, Tourism, Water and Sanitation, Energy, Governance, etc.) for which we work with a diversity of actors (local authorities, public authorities, civil society, schools, companies, etc.).
We can also accompany any Savoyard company wishing to engage in international solidarity at its own level or in the framework of a partnership with an association in its territory. We also support Savoyard associations in their efforts to reach out to private sector partners.
