Founded in December 2019, SimplEAUment offers a biotechnology for water treatment.
This technology based on microscopic living organisms is used to purify water from the environment (rain, groundwater, spring, river...) in order to replace drinking water for sanitary uses or to convert swimming pools into natural pools.
What we can contribute
Product, service or intervention proposed
SimplEAUment offers portable, energy-free, chemical-free water purification stations. The concept of the stations could be suitable for villages far from safe access to water or sanitation.
Located in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, SimplEAUment could enable NGOs to respond to the AuRA region's call for projects "New coalitions of actors in the water and sanitation sector in French-speaking Africa". The regional grant is intended for associations under the 1901 law that are leaders of an economic consortium involving at least one company from Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and possibly other French and African companies.

In short, SimplEAUment's contribution is above all technical and industrial.
What we are looking for
Product, service or intervention sought
I know France quite well but not much about other countries in the world. I am looking for partnerships to better understand the terrain and the relationship with water in other countries. We will have to explore the economic and environmental approach (CSR) before we can implement the SimplEAUment biotechnology.
Skills and expertise required
- Dimensioning/technical design
- Logistics
- Field study/analysis (analysis of local needs and uses, market study, socio-cultural analysis)
- Networking (networking, integration into the local ecosystem)
- CSR approach (relationship with stakeholders, optimisation of resources, environmental regulations, etc.)
- Legal framework
- Impact assessment
- Intervention theme

- Area of intervention

- Co-construction
Our expectations/interest in creating a partnership
SimplEAUment wishes to develop its biological alternative for water treatment in order to regain some "common sense" in our water use. Whether it is in France where we use drinking water for all purposes while 93% of our consumption could be replaced by clean and safe water "said to be sanitary" or in countries with problems of access to quality water.
Partnerships with NGOs and institutions could help demonstrate that another relationship with water is possible and that innovation to move away from chemicals in this area remains to be done.
Contributions we are looking for from the future partner

- Additional skills/expertise
