Aide et Action à la Coopération au Développement et à la Solidarité AACDS is an independent, non-political and non-denominational non-profit association. Just seven years ago (2015), a group of well-intentioned people agreed to pool their energies to give birth to Aide et Action à la Coopération au Développement et à la Solidarité. AACDS is an Association under Congolese law and a network of 17 Congolese associations. The founders are deeply convinced that it is important to offer the Congolese population a bright future and to promote quality relations and cooperation. Thus AABDS is committed to working for the benefit of humanity, the human person, values and a stable, inclusive and equal society.
The social object of AACDS is the accomplishment of a mission of general interest in the DRC in the fields of development cooperation, humanitarian action and international solidarity. Its approach and strategy is to continue to work within the system of "Urgence-Réhabilitation et Développement (URD).
AACDS works directly on the ground in North and South Kivu. Its national office is located in Goma, Quartier Himbi II, Avenue du Lac, N°074. AACDS is always closer to the beneficiary populations. It responds to needs expressed and identified in the fields of health and emergency aid, education and scientific research, agriculture and the rural sector, economy and productive activity, emergency aid and rehabilitation, human, socio-economic and cultural rights of the least favoured groups; pacification, conflict prevention and the democratisation process; environment and infrastructure.
