A.V.E.S (Association des Volontaires pour l'Environnement Sain - Association of Volunteers for a Healthy Environment) is a non-political, not-for-profit organization established by decree on July 01, 1901. It is an NGO that supports local development and the self-promotion of grassroots communities. Specializing in action research, technical support and the accompaniment of local initiatives, the NGO A.V.E.S aims to fight poverty by improving basic social services, sound management of the Environment through commitment to voluntary and benevolent actions.
Mission:
To work for the social and economic advancement of rural and urban populations through intervention methods based on the pedagogy of adults, young people and children, participatory action research, the free and responsible participation of the interested parties in the sustainable transformation of their society and the healthy protection of their Environment (social, physical, cultural, economic...).
Objectives
- Contribute to improving the living conditions of the most vulnerable, underprivileged populations by giving them better access to basic social services and helping them to meet their basic needs, thus reinforcing the idea of sound environmental management;
- Promote cultural exchange and international solidarity by strengthening the voluntary actions of young people to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals;
- Facilitate the sharing of information, ideas, experience and resources between other development structures.
- Strengthen skills and capacities in community and participatory development;
- Contribute to building people's capacity for self-promotion through the realization of socio-community projects; raise their awareness of citizenship (children's rights, women's rights, social assistance, etc.) so that they can become real players in the development process at grassroots level.

 - Raising awareness of basic health and hygiene provisions;
- Training and information for mothers on nutrition and newborn care;
- Organization of public or community awareness-raising meetings on the fight against STI/HIV/AIDS, or on malaria in families, workplaces or schools;
- Organization of sanitation and river-cleaning sessions and activities;

- Information-education-communication

- Environmental education with teaching activities linked to environmental protection in schools and training centers;
- Training young people in eco-citizenship and green entrepreneurship,
- Initiation of schoolchildren to the creation of vegetable gardens,
- Accompaniment and support for garbage and waste recycling techniques in homes and schools;

ProP/RISC(Programme De Planification Et Réalisation Des Infrastructures Socio Communautaires )

- Design and preparation of development projects
- Training in project design techniques;
- Spatial planning: taking into account the MDGs, CC and DRR;
- Revitalization of negotiation methods and strengths for projects,
