Created in 1998, Avocats Sans Frontières France is an association of international solidarity governed by the law of 1901.
We promote access to the law and to fair justice for vulnerable people who have been removed from it, arbitrarily detained or tortured. We also defend lawyers and human rights defenders threatened because of their commitment or their profession.
We intervene anywhere in the world where there is a need to support the rule of law, the judiciary or the right to a fair trial. We always aim to strengthen local justice and legal actors, responding to their needs and working alongside them.
