Cool Roof France is a French company of the Social and Solidarity Economy, created in 2015.
Since then, it has been helping people adapt to climate change by offering an integrated solution for building roofs.
These coatings reflect 90% of the sun's radiation, thus preventing heat from entering the building. The Cool Roof France reflective membrane also has other positive effects such as
- Improved thermal comfort for occupants,
- Reduced energy consumption,
- Reduced loss of goods due to non-compliance with temperature regulations,
- or an increase in the service life of the roof and the condensers,
Committed to the fight against global warming, Cool Roof France is currently working on the implementation of activities aimed at encouraging awareness of the challenges of adapting buildings, districts and cities. We are always open and available for new partnerships as we believe that it is by increasing our ecosystem of partners, and finding synergies between them, that we will have a more significant impact on EE.
We are currently in the process of setting up a call for projects from the French Global Environment Fund, "Sustainable cooling and air conditioning" and are open to partnerships with actors involved in urban resilience, mitigation and adaptation to climate change, sustainable cities

Our expectations/interest in creating a partnership
Cool Roof France has been present in Senegal since 2019, mainly through external project funding.
During the development and implementation of projects, we rely on the local fabric in order to :
- Enrich ourselves with their local knowledge in order to set up a project that meets the expectations and needs of future beneficiaries
- Achieving bilateral skills and knowledge transfer
- Fostering local ownership
We work on the development of our projects with Senegalese NGOs, institutions and companies. Concrete examples:
- Training of local applicators
- Partnership with the Senegalese State Building Heritage Management Agency for the identification of demonstrators
- Partnership with the Ecole Polytechnique de Thiès to develop and manufacture connected sensors
- Partnership with a Senegalese consultancy specialising in energy efficiency to analyse the impact of coolroof on buildings
- Partnership with an NGO for sociological studies
- Partnership with a Senegalese company for the commercial development of coolroof in that country
