Since 2013, Emmaüs Connect, a member association of the Emmaüs movement, has made digital inclusion its core business. The association helps people in socially and digitally precarious situations, with the ambition of making digital an opportunity for everyone.
In France, within its 19 territories of action located in urban, rural and ultra-marine areas, the association acts on the three dimensions of illiteracy: equipping, connecting and supporting to pass on essential skills.
Through its training organization, the association also trains thousands of social action professionals in digital inclusion techniques (over 13,000 social workers trained). Lastly, it equips social structures that so wish to become Digital Relays capable of offering independent connection and support to their members of the public (over 475 to date).
Emmaüs Connect has empowered more than 137,000 people in difficulty, thanks to a team of more than 150 employees, 1,700 volunteers and collaboration with 6,000 social structures in the field.
