What we can contribute

Product, service or intervention proposed

GRET teams design and implement field projects and share their know-how and expertise. They build partnerships and networks at local, national and international levels. They produce knowledge based on their experience in the field.

GRET conducts expert assessments: we conduct and share expert assessments based essentially on the results of applied research and experiments, and on our excellent knowledge of the field.

GRET leads networks and defends ideas: it coordinates local, national and international collectives, speaks out at international forums and actively advocates fair and sustainable development.

GRET produces and disseminates references: based on its practical experience, it produces and disseminates knowledge, know-how and methods that have been tested, evaluated and improved in the field.

GRET works on a range of themes.

On the question of universal access to essential services

GRET therefore promotes universal and equitable access to quality essential services, while respecting the environment. Its actions are part of a partnership approach with local authorities, the private sector as well as users∙e∙s and citizens∙ne∙s for a concerted, sustainable and inclusive construction and management of these services.

Our expectations/interest in creating a partnership

Identify expertise and technical innovations that are robust and adapted to our intervention contexts. Enabling the improvement of sustainable drinking water and sanitation services accessible to the greatest number. For example, by responding to the challenges of remote measurement/monitoring of underground water resources to gradually build up hydrogeological data in a context where it is scarce. Or helping us to design wastewater treatment systems that allow by-products to be reused, while being socially acceptable and inexpensive. In exchange, we offer excellent knowledge of the local context, experienced teams based on site, a network of players, the institutional framework and a good command of the development project cycle.
