HKM ENERGIE is a general contractor specializing in renewable energy and energy efficiency, dedicated to providing sustainable and affordable energy solutions to improve access to water and quality energy in urban and rural communities in Benin. It was founded by Olivier Mahugnon DJIDONOU, entrepreneur and Project Manager, a qualified and ECOWAS-certified expert in sustainable energy with extensive experience in implementing sustainable projects.
HKM ENERGIE and its partners help rural communities with limited access to water and electricity, and who often depend on traditional and polluting energy sources, to achieve the MDGs, through the realization of kits, street lamps, solar pumping.... The aim is to improve the quality of life of these communities, stimulate their socio-economic development and reduce their dependence on fossil fuels.
Through its social component, HKM ENERGIE targets households living in remote areas inaccessible to conventional networks, and is seeking funding from left to right to set up village water supply systems, install autonomous solar-powered street lamps in local markets, public squares and other suitable locations, and set up training projects for out-of-school girls and village women in the installation of solar panels, a business of the future.

Our expectations/interest in creating a partnership

Some common reasons why HKM ENERGIE might consider such a partnership:

  • Extending our reach: By collaborating with NGOs or companies with a local presence and experience in remote areas, we could extend our reach to more communities in need of access to water and energy.
  • Access to additional funding and resources: Partnerships with NGOs or companies can help us access additional funding, technical and material resources, as well as opportunities for grants or support programs. This would facilitate the implementation of water and energy access projects in remote areas.
  • Sharing best practices and lessons learned: Partnerships offer an opportunity to exchange knowledge, share best practices and collaborate on solving common problems. By working with others engaged in similar initiatives, we can benefit from their experience and contribute to the continuous improvement of our projects.
  • Strengthen our collective impact: By joining forces with other organizations, we could have a greater collective impact in promoting access to water and energy in remote areas. Together, we could raise awareness, influence policy, share resources and achieve common goals faster and more effectively.

These expectations and interests can help us identify potential partners who share our mission and values, and with whom we can establish fruitful partnerships to maximize our positive impact in remote communities.
