The IECD is an international solidarity organization that implements economic and human development projects in partnership with local institutions, enabling young people and people in precarious situations to gain access to decent, sustainable jobs, in a quality educational and health environment. IECD works primarily in the fields of education, vocational training and access to employment for young people, as well as entrepreneurship, in 14 countries in four geographical areas (Mediterranean Basin, Sub-Saharan Africa, Madagascar and South-East Asia).

IECD's mission is to implement or support the implementation of development projects enabling young people and people in vulnerable and precarious situations to gain access to decent and sustainable employment, in a quality educational and health environment.

IECD works in close collaboration with local partners, to build educational and professional environments that enable everyone to reveal their talents. Its ambition is to enable young people, adults and professionals to acquire the tools and know-how they need to become responsible players in their country, build a better future and contribute to a fairer society.
