ONG-SEJIDHA is a non-governmental organisation with a national vocation and is particularly well established in the Zou department. It uses a participatory approach that puts the grassroots communities at the beginning and end of all its interventions.
It is composed of a multidisciplinary team of five active members, all of whom are volunteers. The team members are experienced in the following fields: agriculture, education, accounting and business management, handicrafts.
Created in 2016 and recognised as being of general interest, its status is that of an association under the French law of 1901.

The NGO-SEJIDHA has set itself the mission of :
- Support vulnerable farming communities through education and capacity building to improve their living conditions and productivity;
- To be a privileged actor within the educational community, always acting in the interest of the child, and to ensure the defence and promotion of the common interests of all parents of pupils in public schools;
- To work towards strengthening solidarity within grassroots communities and affirming their identity for participatory democracy.
