Summer School PV Fianara 2021
The PV Fianara 2021 summer school was held from 13 to 17 December 2021 at the University of Fianarantsoa. It is focused on theoretical and practical training accompanied by a project idea competition called "Ny Tetikasako". The three strong points of the "PV Fianar 2021" school concern the implementation of a learning-by-doing pedagogy, the networking between the energy actors in Madagascar as well as an opening towards the awareness of the energy professions for the students in Fianarantsoa. A student fair was organized at the opening of the summer school to bring students closer to professionals in the energy field.

The association "Puya Internationale" participated for the second time in a scientific training event in
Madagascar. Despite the prevailing health context which necessitated the use of the remote mode, we were able to carry out all the practical work initially planned for the PV Fianara 2021 school. Our association, Puya International, has established a solid community of interest with the local teachers and in particular with the person in charge of the practical work. We have scrupulously anticipated the course of the practical sessions through numerous exchanges, including a lot of preparation work (complete implementation under our supervision of the practical sessions before the school), thus ensuring the best possible course for the sessions to come. We particularly appreciated the involvement of the person in charge of the practical work as well as his great availability and motivation. All this preparatory work was concretized by a smooth running of the three sessions of practical work for our greatest satisfaction as well as that of the university supervisors and the students. The results of these practical sessions are therefore very positive and show, if it were necessary, that the preparation phase, the taking into account and the appropriation of the materials by the local supervisors is the key to the success of such an undertaking. This was the case in the framework of this school and we are already looking forward to contribute as magnificently to the PV Fianara 2022 school!
