BMCE Bank Foundation Project

Project completed

The BMCE Bank Foundation works to protect the environment and promote education in rural areas. It finances the construction of schools to raise community awareness of the value of traditional architectural and cultural heritage, and above all to ensure that children feel comfortable at school and work in the best possible conditions.

4 DataCups donated by the Institut Français du Maroc have made their debut in the classrooms of their Medersat.com network.

Thanks to this innovative hardware, teachers will be able to access digital resources without the need for an internet connection. Our approach enables education without the disruption of distractions, inappropriate content or unwanted advertising. Resources are carefully selected to ensure a positive and focused learning experience.

DataCup visited the BMCE Bank Foundation headquarters in Morocco to provide a 2-day training course for teachers, educational coordinators and supervisors. The training covered a number of topics: getting to grips with DataCup, analyzing existing content (2,500 resources), planning future content for DataCup (stories in Arabic, etc.) and adapting the public interface. This training course has strengthened the ability of teachers to offer quality education to pupils in rural schools.
