Hopeful Nkomo (conversation) was birthed out of the need to provide virtual and in person support to individuals and grow a community of conscientious people who prioritize their mental health. Ghana has a population of about 32 million with only 3 psychiatric hospitals, 38 psychiatrist and 166 psychologist. There is a clear disproportion of professional to individuals. In addition to this heavy stigma attached to mental health care and to seeking support. We aim to solve this by providing easy access online and in person and psycho education and the avenue for the community to engage in wellness activities.
