Professional representation | Agricultural development

The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Chamber of Agriculture represents the network of departmental chambers, coordinates regional schemes and trade groups (training, installation, environment, energy, land, forestry, product development, business, society, R&D); provides consular governance and communication, as well as administrative and financial support functions.
The Chambers of Agriculture offer a wide range of specialized skills and services to their members: farmers, the agricultural sector and professional agricultural organizations, in the form of technical and economic advice and customized training. They also provide support to local authorities in all territorial projects involving agriculture. The regional network includes over 400 elected representatives and 1,000 employees.

The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Chamber of Agriculture has also been involved internationally with partners such as the Côte d'Ivoire National Chamber of Agriculture since 2019, and in supporting development projects such as Adfa-Bélier. A product of the European Archipelago program, Adfa-Bélier is a project running from 2020 to 2023 and supported by several partners (the 2 chambers of agriculture, 2 regional councils Bélier and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and 2 training organizations INFPA and the NGO EdM) has enabled 400 young people to be trained in the cassava and market gardening sectors, then supported in rolling out their projects in their villages thanks to an innovative approach to agricultural territorial consultation.
