E.T.E.

E.T.E. SAS, based in the south of France, has been developing and manufacturing water treatment systems without adding chemicals since 1984.
Its patented activ'H2O® in-line electrolysis water disinfection system is used in many fields: drinking water, food & beverage, medical and tourist establishments, schools, armies, etc.
E.T.E. has recently launched the 'SUWP' concept, an integrated 100% solar solution intended mainly for rural areas in southern countries: water for human consumption and for local agricultural activities that generate employment (local creation of animal and vegetable proteins).
The company has a long experience of projects in Africa and the Caribbean, with a network of serious, competent and locally recognised partners.

What we can contribute

Product, service or intervention proposed

Participation in a solidarity project in Senegal has enabled us to launch a new concept of 'SUWP' (Several Usage Water Project) which allows the creation of employment generating activities from the water produced. This collaborative project, which brings together private partners (TECHNA, ORYX, G Perform) and associations (CERIP in Thies) in Senegal and France, will be officially presented at the World Water Forum to be held in Senegal in late March 2022.

We are looking for partners to identify sites in Africa for the implementation of this type of project.

Contributions we can make to our partner

E.T.E. has a long experience of innovation in the field of water treatment. Former member and leader of the export commission of the former Languedoc-Roussillon water companies network SWELIA, E.T.E. has been a member of AQUA-VALLEY for several years. Thanks to this, the company is well acquainted with the research centres and laboratories in the field of water located in Occitania (I.E.M. Hydrosciences, I.R.D., CIRAD PROMES in Perpignan,...) and can participate in the organisation of training courses accompanying field projects in the southern countries.

E.T.E. also has the internal skills and a network of reliable partners to offer water access solutions, the quality of which will be in line with the intended use. Thus, the company will be able to propose solutions adapted to local particularities and constraints (different origins of water, uses, eusses and customs, difficulties of access, access to energy,...).

E.T.E. only operates in countries in the South where a serious and locally recognised technical and commercial partner has been identified. Because of their knowledge of local stakeholders, NGOs seem particularly well placed to help us find the right win-win partner.
