Registration for the MEET AFRICA 2 program financed by AFD

Seed funding of €1,000 obtained in September 2022 to set up an agroecological farm on three hectares in a village called MBOUI located in CAMEROON in the Nyong Ekellé department.
The project is currently being implemented in three stages:

• Farm design
• Planting of various identified crops (yams, cassava, maize, 13,000 plantains)
• Setting up the farm (raising chickens, rabbits, guinea fowl)

Projects bringing together some thirty young people from the village and others from the Maghreb countries.

Reinforcement of the agroecological farm project, as the 10,000 euros obtained are earmarked for start-up costs (purchase of materials, rental of farm land, purchase of seedlings). 8300 euros already spent. We'd like to move on to phase two of the project, adding more plantain plants, since we've already planted 3,500. We'd also like to build a water well and a large shed to store the food from the harvest.

Funding sought: 12,000 euros - completion date November 2023 - May 2024
