Entrepreneurs du Monde, which has been active in Togo for 10 years, has decided to contribute to the creation of green jobs and the improvement of the environment. It has created MIAWODO, a company-school for :
1- develop training in :
- waste management
- vocational integration
- business management
2- develop innovative waste management activities for individuals and companies: composting, repair of solar lamps, recycling of plastics, etc.
In 2020, MIAWODO trained 271 people isolated from employment and collected and recycled 5 tons of waste.

As with all the programmes it creates and incubates, Entrepreneurs of the World structures and supports MIAWODO on all levels (legal, financial, methodological, human resources, management, etc.) so that it becomes an autonomous entity. The enterprise-school will be an independent, social entity under local law with an economic model that ensures its financial sustainability. The income generated by the enterprise-school will ensure this sustainability.
